If you aren't attending tonight's fashion show, join the League of Women Voters for a screening of "One Woman, One Vote," a PBS Documentary celebrating the 90th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote. The screening starts at 6 p.m. at Mississippi Public Broadcasting (3825 Ridgewood Road); free. If late-night entertainment is your style, see Amazing Lazy Boi and Rock perform at F. Wake up early on Saturday for a good cause and participate in the third annual Latasha Norman Run/Walk, "A Celebration of Life: Putting an End to Domestic Violence." Registration is 7 a.m. and the walk/run begins at 8 a.m. at Jackson State University's Student Center. If you're a bookworm, head to Lemuria at 11 a.m. where Allen Whitley will sign copies of his book "Where the Southern Cross the Dog." For lunch, head to Butterfly Yoga for the "Raw Food Potluck Social" at 1 p.m. The potluck call 601-594-2313 to RSVP and claim your dish. If you are going out on the town, don't miss the "Unconventional" show at Hal & Mal's featuring AJC and the Envelope Pushers with special guest J Tran. Doors open at 9 p.m.; $7. On Sunday, get a head start on your Holiday shopping during The Holiday Shopping Extravaganza at Beth Isreal Congregation (5315 Old Canton Road) at 11 a.m.; free. After you shop, head to "Weedstock" and help clean up Fondren from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Meet in the Rainbow parking lot; helpers get a $5 gift certificate to Rainbow's deli. If you're hungry after all that hard work, support a local restaurant such as Poets At the Quarter, Cool Al's or Pizza Shack.
