Someone who demonstrates characteristics of high personal character and integrity, perhaps using this strength of character to be resilient in the face of extenuating family circumstances, or in overcoming significant obstacles.
Or a guy or gal with an extraordinary talent.
Or someone that is a leader in their school, church or community.
If so, we'd love to hear about them!
The JFP is seeking nominations for our first 2011 Young-Young Influentials feature.
Our criterion is pretty open:
High-school age student (male or female)
Metro area school (so Jackson and its surrounding communities and cities)
Public or private school
Please include a couple of sentences about why your nominee is an amazing teen and why they deserve to be featured in the paper.
Please send bio information (name, age, school, male or female, race, extracurricular activities, etc.) and a photo if you have one.
