“I think it’s feminism. If it’s tied to the last 50 years—the average size of (a man’s) member is 10 percent smaller than 50 years (ago)—it has to be the feminazis, the chickification and everything else.”
–Rush Limbaugh
Why it stinks: Limbaugh was talking about a study conducted in Italy that concluded men’s genitalia have decreased in length about 10 percent over the past 50 years. Among the reasons the study cited were excess weight gain, particularly around the waist, environmental air pollutants, stress, smoking and alcohol intake, according to chacha.com, the source cited by philadelphia.cbslocal.com. Neither website provided the source for the study nor was the Jackson Free Press able to find the report online. Reportedly, the study doesn’t provide research methodology, which would have included the numbers of men studied, lending no credence to the claim, also reported, that the study used bona fide methods. But, as we’ve learned to expect, Limbaugh never lets facts get in the way of his rhetoric against women. One could surmise that he may be suffering from a bit of member envy himself.
