On Saturday, the BankPlus Racing Vehicle Extravaganza is from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Mississippi Trade Mart

Today, Amos Brewer performs Fridays at The Penguin from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The exhibit "Dinosaurs: Big, Bad, Bold and Back" is up through Jan. 6 at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science (2148 Riverside Drive). On Saturday, BlueCross BlueShield of Mississippi's annual Mississippi Blues Marathon and Half Marathon kicks off at 7 a.m. in downtown Jackson. Registrations are sold out for the marathon, but children can still register for the kids' race for $10, and spectators can watch for free. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Mississippi Blues Commission. Visit msbluesmarathon.com.
