Ring in the New Year at BRAVO!

BRAVO! will have a seven-course New Year's Eve meal featuring wild salmon, venison osso bucco, smoked gulf-oyster salad, black garlic-duck pastrami and more. The early seating at 6:30 p.m. is $70 per person. The late seating at 9 p.m. is $90 per person and includes a midnight Champagne toast and indoor fireworks.

Noon Year's Eve Celebration at the Mississippi Children's Museum

A New Year's Eve Gala at the Hilton Garden Inn

1908 Provisions chef Gary Hawkins has created a special New Year's Eve menu featuring Herford beef tenderloin, Gulf red snapper, pork osso bucco, Scottish salmon and more. Dinner is from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; the bar will remain open after 9:30. Admission is $65 per person.

Rolling for Relocation: An Evening in Monte Carlo at Farmer's Table Cooking School

Farmer's Table Cooking School hosts this event to raise money for the relocation of Community Place, Jackson's only nonprofit skilled nursing facility, to Rankin County. Table 100's Chef Mike Romhild will prepare a special menu for the restaurant's last meal of the year. Wine specials include a specialty pinot noir and pinot gris, as well as a pear-infused vodka. A special three-course menu will be available that includes New Year's Surf and Turf, Porcini mushroom bisque, young field salad, and frozen local honey and cold drip coffee souffle. The three-course menu is $63 per person, and the restaurant's regular menu will also be available.

The Most Incredible New Year's in the Bold New City, Thalia Mara Hall

This free event is outside Thalia Mara Hall from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. It features a space bounce for kids, food from local vendors, music from DJ Mississippi Sinatra and a fireworks show at midnight. In addition, the Arts Center of Mississippi (201 E. Pascagoula St., Suite 102, 601-960-1500) will have a special Lego display and the Russell C. Davis Planetarium (201 E. Pascagoula St. Suite 200, 601-960-1550) will show children's movies from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
