2014 JFP Chef Week Winners Announced

In the 2nd Annual JFP Chef Week charity event, participation was overwhelming with 25 restaurants and chefs competing for their favorite charities.

Here are the winners and runners-up:

Winners:

1st place - P.J. Lee, Hal and Mal’s, wins $1,500 from Lady Luck Casino for the Hal White Memorial Scholarship Fund

2nd place - Pierre Pryor, Iron Horse Grill, wins $1,000 from Capital City Beverage and Abita for Mississippi Symphony Orchestra

3rd place — Danny Eslava, Eslava’s Grille wins $500 from Rebel Butcher Supply.com for Cheshire Abbey

Finalists:

  • Ken Crotwell, Sombra Mexican Kitchen, wins a Quarter Page color ad in the JFP for the Center for Violence Prevention
  • Don Primos, Primos Cafe, wins a Quarter Page color ad in the JFP for Neighborhood Christian Centers
  • Jessica Furches, Islander Oyster House, wins a Quarter Page color ad in the JFP for the Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital
  • Kerry Brashear, Kathryn’s Steakhouse, wins a Quarter Page color ad in the JFP for the Mississippi Animal Rescue League
