The top of the poll has changed, with both Mississippi teams in the SEC grabbing the top two spots. The Bulldogs and the Rebels have jumped Florida State as the best teams in the country.
You know there is something special going on when both the Mississippi State and Ole Miss are bowl eligible, and no one cares because there are bigger fish to fry. Depending on the outcome of the Florida State against Notre Dame game this week, the Bulldogs are going be No. 1 for at least a week.
One-loss teams are stacking up as we start to think about the new playoff. At some point, the Rebels or Bulldogs are going to join that group even if it is after the Egg Bowl.
