Both political parties have certified their primary elections and sent the results to the Mississippi Secretary of State's office.
Information from the parties show that eight Democratic and seven Republican races will go to runoff races on Tuesday, Aug. 25.
Voters may vote in the primary runoff even if they did not vote in the primary election; however, voters who participated in a party primary on Aug. 4 can only vote in that party's primary runoff.
