Mississippi state executive offices are up for election this year. Incumbent Gov. Phil Bryant and incumbent Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves both have the largest amounts of money at their campaigns' disposal: a combined total of more than $5 million. The races for the auditor and treasurer Republican spots are competitive, according to June campaign-finance reports. David McRae has raised more money than the incumbent Lynn Fitch in his race for state treasurer. Mary Hawkins Butler has raised enough to make a serious run for Stacey Pickering's spot as the Republican candidate for state auditor. The central and south districts have wide-open races for public-service commissioners since both incumbents are not running in those districts. The primary election will be Aug. 4 with runoffs scheduled for Aug. 25. General election is on Nov. 3. All numbers are pulled from June 10 filings to the Mississippi Secretary of State's office, unless otherwise noted.
