City of Jackson Christmas Parade Rescheduled to Dec. 10 Due to Inclement Weather

Due to forecasted inclement weather, the City of Jackson’s annual Christmas Parade has been rescheduled from Saturday, Dec. 3, to Dec. 10 at noon. The event is co-sponsored by The Salvation Army. The theme is “Christmas in the Capital.”

This year’s lineup will include several marching bands, numerous organizations and city departments. The city’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is still scheduled for Dec. 2, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
