Voting opened before dawn Thursday at Nissan Motor Co.'s sprawling campus in central Mississippi. The National Labor Relations Board will close the polls at 7 p.m. Friday, and then announce whether the UAW has managed, for the first time, to fully organize a foreign-owned auto plant in the southern United States.
